OPENING OF THE LEGAL YEAR OF THE HIGH COURT OF SABAH AND SARAWAK 2020

REGISTRATION FORM & SOUVENIR MAGAZINE

Reference is made to the Notice dated 20th November 2019 from the Central Committee.

Please find appended below details of events and registration for the coming Opening of the Legal Year for the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak 2020 (“OLY 2020”) to be held in Kuching, Sarawak, in January 2020.

1. REGISTRATION FORM

The OLY 2020 Registration Form is attached herewith. Registration Forms can be submitted via e-mail (OLY2020KCH@gmail.com) and facsimile to our Bar Room, Kuching, at 082 449427. Kindly register for OLY 2020 latest by Friday, 3rd January 2020.

For payments made, please send notification and proof of payment to OLY2020KCH@gmail.com.

WELCOMING DINNER

Please be informed that there will be a Welcoming Dinner for lawyers the night before OLY 2020, particulars of which are as follows :-

Date                  :      Thursday, 16th January 2020

Time                 :      7.00 pm onwards

Venue               :      Portico Restaurant

Dress Code       :      Smart Casual

 

OLY 2020 GALA DINNER

Details of the OLY 2020 Gala Dinner are as follows :-

Date                  :      Friday, 17th January 2020

Time                 :      6.30 pm

Venue               :      Sarawak Chamber, Riverside Majestic Hotel

Theme              :      “Masquerade Ball”

Dress Code       :      Lounge Suit (in line with theme)

 

OFFICIAL HOTELS

We have two (2) official hotels for OLY 2020, namely, (i) Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing and (ii) Grand Margherita Hotel. The relevant hotel booking forms (with hotel rates) are attached herewith.

OLY 2020 SOUVENIR MAGAZINE & ADVERTISEMENTS

There will be a Souvenir Magazine to commemorate OLY 2020. Legal Firms in Sabah and Sarawak are invited and encouraged to place advertisements in the Souvenir Magazine.

Details on how to do so are stated in the OLY 2020 Advertisement Form attached herewith. Kindly submit the forms to our e-mail, OLY2020KCH@gmail.com, latest by Friday, 13th December, 2019.
