Reference is made to our Notice dated 27th May 2014 with regards to the Advocates (Registration of Firm Names), Rules, 2014 which came into force on the 17th January 2014.

Please be reminded that the dateline to register and submit the Registration Form of the Advocates (Registration of Firm Names), Rules, 2014 has passed and Advocates who have not submitted their form should do so on an urgent basis. Any legal firm who does not register and submitted the registration form together with the required supporting documents shall cease to be a firm under this Rule.

Attached herewith is the Registration Form for Advocates to register their firm names. Please complete the attached form and forward it to the Secretary of the Advocates Association of Sarawak, c/o Bar Room, Judicial Department, Jalan Gersik, Petra Jaya, 93050 Kuching, Sarawak on or before 17th August 2014.
